I'm a London-based freelance copywriter, creative, trained journalist and language obsessive with over ten years’ experience in marketing, advertising and communications across a wide variety of brands and business sectors.

I’m skilled at conjuring original and engaging ideas, creating compelling long-form copy and attention-grabbing short-form prose, whether it be for b2b or b2c, in-house or agency, grass-roots start-up or Fortune 500. From retail, beauty, fashion and interiors to sustainable energy, finance, events, consumer health, FMCG and a whole lot in between.

​Over the years I’ve focused heavily on brand development, brand positioning and tone of voice, often working closely with creative teams, designers, art directors, photographers, videographers, animators, printing houses, web teams and beyond, ensuring the words and creative marry together perfectly.


I pride myself on my ability to adapt, collaborate and understand the client's and their audience’s needs fast - getting under the skin of what needs to be communicated and then delivering it with creativity and candour. I’m switched on, absorb information quickly, ask the right questions, am easy going and enjoy collaboration. I have an excellent eye for detail and a huge respect and appreciation of good design.


On a wider level - I enjoy talking to people, finding out what makes them tick and learning about different industries, places, people, cultures, trends, technologies etc.
