Having worked both agency side and in-house in marketing, advertising and communications for the past eight years (and also owing to my journalism training and life-long obsession with words and images) I am fastidious and skilled at creating effective, inspiring and imaginative copy and conjuring exciting, original and engaging ideas.
I've focused heavily on brand development, brand positioning and tone of voice, employing this to great effect across digital, print and live events for a wide variety of business sectors including travel, F&B, events, interiors, FMCG, finance, healthcare, beauty, retail, fashion, licensing, design, hospitality and more. I often work closely with designers, art directors, photographers, stylists, videographers, animators, creative teams, printing houses, web teams and beyond, ensuring the words and creative marry together perfectly.
I pride myself on my ability to adapt, collaborate and understand the client's needs fast, regardless of the area of business, the brand, the subject matter or the medium.

For as long as I remember I've been in love with creating things. Whether that be building a treehouse with my Mum (as a DIY-enthused whipper snapper) or creating a beautiful image or a hard-working line of copy as part of my work today.
Since graduating in Journalism & Broadcasting from The University of Sheffield I've gained a wealth of creative experience across marketing, communications and advertising (both agency side and in-house, b2b and b2c), including work as Creative Lead on the UK's largest home and gift exhibitions, Spring Fair and Autumn Fair, to more recent freelance roles in copywriting, pitching and development for clients including L'Oreal Group, DesignIt, UBM, and WiPro to name a few.
My strengths centre on my ability to adapt, understand and deliver on-brand messaging regardless of the brand area or subject matter. Whether that be script writing for pitches to CEOs of multi billion dollar banks, copywriting and art directing eye catching packaging for start-up soft drinks brands, or creating campaign ideas for ethical cosmetics companies, my clients are consistently happy with the results (which obviously makes me pretty happy too).
